The Busser position at Pizza Nova plays a crucial role in supporting the restaurant's service team under the direct supervision of the General Manager (GM) and management team. The Busser works diligently to ensure that each guest receives outstanding service and enjoys a great experience during their visit. This role requires a proactive, service-oriented attitude focused on maintaining a clean and inviting dining area. Employees in this role are responsible for executing key tasks to ensure the restaurant remains presentable and that guests' needs are promptly addressed. As a Busser, you will actively assist with clearing and resetting tables, ensuring all used dishes, glasses, and debris are removed efficiently. You will maintain a sanitary environment by sanitizing tables and chairs, organizing seating areas, and refilling water for guests as needed. This position also involves supporting servers and other team members by carrying food and drinks to tables, monitoring and replenishing bus stations with clean towels and proper waste disposal, and promptly responding to spills or accidents to maintain safety standards. The role demands excellent communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively with the team to support a top-notch guest experience. Employees must adhere to strict cleaning and handwashing standards and be prepared to take on additional deep-cleaning tasks as assigned. The position is part-time and hourly, offering wages at the current minimum wage rate plus tips, and requires availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays to align with restaurant operating hours. A Food Handler Card and Responsive Beverage Service certification are mandatory, with a 30-day grace period for new hires to obtain these credentials if not already held.
