The Food and Beverage Service Associate at Azul Hospitality plays a vital role in ensuring guests receive courteous, attentive, and efficient service throughout their dining experience. This position is responsible for the presentation and delivery of food and beverage items in the restaurant and bar areas, as well as maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere that enhances the guest experience. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and able to perform multiple tasks with a professional attitude that reflects the company’s dedication to excellence. In this role, associates will deliver food to guests, clear tables using proper methods, stock restaurant supplies such as glassware and napkins, and maintain cleanliness around the restaurant and bar areas, including wiping down high-touch surfaces and disposing of trash. Safety is paramount, with duties involving attentive handling of spills, breakages, and equipment transportation to protect guests and staff. Additionally, the associate supports the service team to exceed guest expectations and participates in deep cleaning efforts to uphold the restaurant’s high standards. This role requires physical stamina to stand and move continuously for up to four hours, work in temperature extremes such as freezers and kitchens, and handle lifting and moving equipment weighing up to 250 pounds. Strong communication skills and a basic understanding of computer systems such as Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, and POS are essential for effective job performance. • High school or equivalent education
• Prior hospitality or restaurant experience preferred
• Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to four hours
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures such as freezers (-10°F) and kitchens (+110°F)
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs as needed
• Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace
• Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
• Regular attendance as per company standards
• Must follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
• Ability to perform repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and visual acuity
