The Steakhouse Bus Person role is a vital position embedded within the food and beverage team at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa. This role specifically focuses on supporting the restaurant’s dining operations by providing exceptional guest service and assisting food servers in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests. The Bus Person ensures that all dining areas are fully stocked with clean utensils, china, glassware, water, and ice, contributing to a seamless dining experience. This position is classified as a swing shift role, requiring flexibility and dedication to maintaining high standards in guest service during peak dining hours. Essential duties include stocking and maintaining the bus/dish cart station, performing opening duties to prepare the dining room, promptly clearing and resetting tables, assisting with beverage refills, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the dining area. The Bus Person also interacts directly with guests by providing warm greetings, assisting servers, and seating guests when necessary. Physical requirements are an important consideration for this role. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform various physical tasks including stooping, kneeling, and reaching. • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
