Palmetto Superfoods seeks hardworking and motivated individuals to join their team, particularly for their San Jose Village Oaks location. The company is currently hiring part-time Bowl Baristas who will play a critical role in delivering high-quality customer experiences and products. This position reports directly to the General Manager and Assistant Manager and offers an hourly wage ranging from $18.25 to $22.00, depending on experience and role responsibilities. The role is on-site with shifts typically available between 7 AM and 9 PM, emphasizing flexibility including early mornings and closing shifts. As a Bowl Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beautiful and nutritious bowls and smoothies that adhere to Palmetto Superfoods' signature recipes. Mastery of these recipes ensures consistent quality and customer satisfaction. Customer interaction is a key component of the job where you will confidently share the health benefits of ingredients, providing an upbeat, informative, and positive service experience. You will also support operational aspects such as handling payment transactions via POS systems, managing digital orders, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the location, and managing inventory to minimize waste. The position demands a high level of professionalism, with an emphasis on punctuality, teamwork, and adhering to health and safety guidelines. Effective communication with team members and management is essential, as is the ability to problem-solve, multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
