As a growing organization, Platinum Group Security is currently seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join their corporate office team located in Boca Raton, Florida. This full-time, on-site position operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and reports directly to the HR and Talent Acquisition Lead. The role is a vital front-line position that embodies the company’s values of loyalty, integrity, professionalism, and excellence. The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and callers, playing a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
Key responsibilities of the role include managing front desk operations with a high level of organization and attention to detail, handling multi-line phone systems efficiently, managing mail and package deliveries, maintaining visitor logs, and assisting with various administrative functions such as data entry, filing, scanning, and badging. The Front Desk Receptionist also supports new hire orientation and onboarding processes, including completing Form I-9 and verifying employment eligibility documentation.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in receptionist or administrative support roles, preferably within the security industry, and demonstrate strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills. Familiarity with Florida's security officer licensing requirements and proficiency in HRIS/ATS platforms like ADP Workforce Now is a plus. Additionally, competence in Microsoft Office applications and office equipment operation is required to successfully fulfill daily duties.
The physical demands of the job include prolonged periods of sitting, occasional lifting of items up to 20 pounds, and clear communication through various channels including phone, video conference, and in-person interactions.
