As a Treatment Coordinator at Orthodontic Experts, you will play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their orthodontic journey. This full-time position, offering a competitive salary range of $19.00 to $26.00 per hour, requires a blend of excellent communication, organizational, and financial consultation skills. You will be responsible for liaising between patients, their families, and the clinical team to ensure a clear understanding of treatment plans and any adjustments that may arise. Your role involves educating patients on their treatment options, facilitating financial arrangements, and helping maintain smooth administrative operations within the practice. The Treatment Coordinator also serves as an ambassador of the practice, welcoming new patients by discussing their oral health history and addressing their concerns while explaining the benefits and expectations of their treatment. You will manage patient accounts, coordinate payment plans, and communicate with third-party financing companies to provide patients with clear and comprehensive financial guidance. Additionally, this role demands proactive engagement with patients through outbound calls, appointment scheduling, and handling emergencies when necessary. Candidates suitable for this role should demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology, Microsoft Office applications, and hold excellent problem-solving and de-escalation abilities. Being bilingual, especially fluent in Spanish, is highly valued given the diverse community served by our clinics. The role involves regular travel between clinics, specifically the Sycamore, IL base clinic and the Algonquin location, requiring flexibility and readiness to perform all treatment coordinator duties across different sites. Working hours are structured Monday through Friday with specified shifts and include some Saturdays, supporting our commitment to accessibility and convenience for patients. The role also includes participation in marketing events and maintaining clinic sanitation standards, emphasizing the comprehensive nature of the responsibilities. • High school degree or GED equivalent
• Three years of customer service experience
• Two years of sales experience
• One year of treatment coordinating experience
• Knowledge of medical terms and practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
• Excellent problem solving and de-escalation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bilingual fluent in Spanish
