The role of Assistant General Manager at WoodSpring Suites Baton Rouge is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and energetic hospitality leader who is passionate about team development and guest service. This full-time position reports directly to the General Manager and plays a crucial role in leading hotel operations. The Assistant General Manager steps in to lead in the absence of the General Manager and assists with managing the day-to-day activities of the hotel to ensure service standards are consistently exceeded. Responsibilities include supervising a diverse team, training staff, and providing hands-on support to ensure that performance goals are met or surpassed. You will manage front desk and back-of-house operations, oversee financial tasks such as posting checks and managing labor costs, and maintain exceptional guest relations by ensuring the hotel is always guest-ready and responsive to any concerns.
