The Cake Decorator role is integral to our bakery team, focusing on the decoration and preparation of cakes and other bakery items while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. This position is a blend of artistic skill and practical knowledge, requiring the decorator to work efficiently with tools such as spatulas, icing bags, and icing tips to create beautifully decorated cakes per customer orders or at the decorator's discretion. The role also involves merchandising and quality control responsibilities, ensuring the department’s offerings are fresh, well-stocked, and attractively presented. In addition to cake decorating, the candidate will participate in baking bread, decorating cookies, and creating fresh bakery offerings, sharing their food knowledge with customers to enhance their experience. Physical demands include standing, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing, keyboarding, telephone use, walking, and bending, which are essential to successfully performing daily duties.
