At the heart of this resort lies the Campland Raised Cantina, a popular dining spot offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner alongside a curated selection of alcoholic beverages. The Cantina serves both resort guests and local patrons, creating a lively and welcoming environment where social gatherings flourish. The bar operates under friendly hours, typically closing between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. daily, ensuring a comfortable and manageable schedule for the staff.
We are currently seeking dedicated and personable Bartenders to join our team at Campland Raised Cantina. This hourly position offers a competitive rate of $17.25 per hour with opportunities for tips, paid sick time, and additional employee perks. Employment hours vary seasonally, ranging from approximately 20 hours per week during the slow season to up to 40 hours per week when business is brisk. Flexibility in schedule is essential, as availability is required for weekend, evening, and holiday shifts.
The Bartender role is vital to delivering exceptional guest service by efficiently mixing and serving alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. Candidates must possess a strong customer service orientation with the ability to work cooperatively with customers, coworkers, and management. Attention to detail is crucial for accurately taking food orders and processing sales transactions while adhering to company cash handling standards. Personal grooming and professional demeanor are equally important in representing the Cantina's welcoming atmosphere.
Physical requirements for the position include standing for extended periods, moving around the kitchen and patio areas, and the ability to lift, push, or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Clear communication skills, including the ability to speak understandably and hear and comprehend speech, are necessary to maintain smooth operations. The ideal candidate must be at least 21 years old and hold a current San Diego County Food Handler's card alongside the California Responsible Beverage Service certificate.
