Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, Director of Beverage, Director of Restaurants, or Director of Banquets, the Bartender is responsible for maintaining strict beverage control, ensuring accurate pouring and serving of beverages while keeping the bar area clean and organized. The position demands an individual who is adept at executing orders promptly, resolving member concerns with professionalism, and consistently upholding the established 3-steps of service to enhance the overall member and guest experience. The Bartender must also maintain comprehensive knowledge of the club's wide selection of liquors, beers, wines, and menu offerings including daily features and specials. The role involves preparing the bar for service at the start of each shift by setting up bottles, garnishes, glassware, and ice to the highest standards and ensuring all supplies are adequately stocked. Teamwork is a fundamental aspect of the role, requiring a proactive approach in supporting fellow employees and contributing to a positive working environment. This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to work in varied environments, operate equipment such as POS systems and blenders, and manage physical tasks including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 100 pounds occasionally.
