About the role: The Bartender role is a dynamic position designed for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. As a Bartender here, you will play a critical part in shaping the overall guest experience by engaging with patrons through knowledgeable drink preparation and contributing to an inviting dining atmosphere. Your responsibilities will extend beyond simply making drinks to helping guide guests through their dining journey, offering expert suggestions that enhance their visit. This role requires a strong understanding of a diverse menu, including food and beverage pairing as well as deep knowledge of different beer, wine, and liquor attributes. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages both for direct bar patrons and orders placed by service staff. You must maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards to ensure the bar area is always inviting. Communication and teamwork are critical to success, as you will be collaborating closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management. This job involves physical stamina, requiring the ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift moderately heavy items such as kegs and food trays. • Ability to operate pos make change and accurately conduct credit card transactions and account for all monies at the end of each shift
• stands or walks 6 to 8 hours per shift
• reaches lifts and bends frequently
• able to deliver plates food and clear the bar which may require lifting as much as 30lbs
• able to change kegs which may require lifting as much as 60 lbs with a partner
