The Bartender role at Rolling Hills Casino is both full-time and part-time, with an hourly wage of $13.00. This position is vital in delivering excellent customer service by preparing and serving a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Bartenders will engage with patrons, take orders, provide drink recommendations, and ensure that all beverages are prepared in accordance with company policies and health and safety regulations. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area is essential to this role, along with proper stock management and display arrangement. Responsibilities for this role include mixing drinks using approved serving equipment, knowledge of various brands and beverage types, managing transactions, and monitoring alcohol consumption to ensure responsible serving practices. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a bartending certificate or two years of bartending experience in busy environments. Certifications such as the Gaming license, RBS certification, Title 31 certification, and food handler’s card will be provided or required as part of employment. The work environment will expose employees to typical casino conditions including moderate noise, tobacco smoke, and occasional temperature extremes. Physical demands include standing for long periods and occasional lifting of heavy items.
