The position starts with a comprehensive training program designed to make new hires capable of operating all barista stations within approximately 90 days. Baristas receive competitive wages starting at $18.96 per hour in Venice, with the possibility of earning $19.90 per hour after certification. Additionally, employees are eligible for tips averaging between $7.00 to $10.00 per hour, contributing to their overall earnings. Baristas in Los Angeles are members of the IBEW Local 1220 union, with union membership required after a probationary period.
