The role of Airside Experience Specialist at Signature Aviation is a dynamic position situated in a luxury private aviation terminal environment. The specialist acts as the welcoming face of the terminal and plays a critical role in ensuring guests, aircraft crew, and their aircraft receive unmatched personalized service from arrival to departure. This position uniquely blends exceptional hospitality skills with hands-on operational expertise, such as operating ground service equipment and performing aircraft ground services. The ideal candidate will thrive in an outdoor, fast-paced setting around active aircraft and variable weather conditions, demonstrating a strong service-first mindset.
As an Airside Experience Specialist, you will be responsible for working safely and efficiently as part of a team to conduct airside operations according to established policies and standard operating procedures. Your collaboration will extend to guests, crew members, vendors, and team members to meet varying service needs, including fueling, de-icing, lavatory services, ground power, baggage handling, marshalling, wing walking, catering delivery, and towing. Maintaining constant communication and proactively addressing safety concerns are crucial components of this role.
Operating and driving specialized ground service vehicles such as fuel trucks, de-icing trucks, tugs, and stair trucks are key elements of the work. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading luggage, cargo, and ensuring the professional treatment of every guest interaction with a positive attitude and professionalism. This role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, supporting the smooth operation of the terminal and maintaining a safe, clean, and secure ramp environment. You will also be entrusted with fuel handling duties including quality control, inventory management, and accurate documentation.
Additionally, you will enforce all operational, safety, and security protocols including physical, cyber, and data security while adhering to airport regulations. Emergency response procedures will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring you are prepared to act swiftly and correctly during critical situations. As the frontline representative of Signature Aviation, your contributions are vital to upholding the company’s reputation for safety, reliability, and outstanding guest service within the private aviation industry.
                - high school diploma or general education degree (ged)
 - minimum of 18 years of age
 - ability to pass company background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug tests, meet airport background check requirements to receive and maintain an airport security badge, and be insurable by the company's applicable insurance policies
 - must be legally authorized to work in the jurisdiction of employment
 - excellent vision and coordination to move and/or direct aircraft and visually inspect aircraft fuel
 - ability to pass a color vision test for purposes of inspecting aviation fuel
 - must possess a valid state driver's license
 - in some locations a commercial driver's license (cdl) is required as dictated by local regulations and business needs
 - must be able to exercise good judgment and follow directions/directives from supervisor/management
