CMC is actively seeking a full-time Barista to join their dedicated Campus Dining Services team at KCKCC. This role is pivotal in creating a positive and inviting atmosphere by preparing and serving a variety of café beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and smoothies. The position offers a competitive pay range between $18 and $20 per hour, dependent on prior work experience, and follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm. The Barista will be a frontline representative of both CMC and KCKCC, providing excellent service while maintaining cleanliness and order in the café space. The ideal candidate for this Barista role is friendly, reliable, and customer-focused with a passion for coffee culture and hospitality. They will operate espresso machines, grinders, and other kitchen equipment proficiently, while also managing transactions via the POS system. Key responsibilities include maintaining a sanitary and organized workspace, restocking inventory, and assisting with opening and closing duties. This position requires someone who can multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, display strong communication skills, and work cooperatively as part of a team.
