We are currently seeking talented Baristas to join our team at Fort Meade, MD. This role offers full-time and part-time opportunities within a fast-paced government dining setting. The position is hourly with a competitive salary range of $16-$18 per hour, reflecting experience and commitment. As a Barista in this hospitality-driven multi-dining outlet environment, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting impressive, delicious beverages such as coffee and tea, along with paired food items including pastries and sandwiches. Expert customer service skills are essential, as you will engage directly with guests, taking orders accurately and entering them into the point of sale (POS) system. This role requires operation of various beverage machinery, including espresso machines, along with maintaining strict standards of cleanliness and sanitation in your work environment. Effective inventory management forms a critical part of the responsibilities, ensuring that supplies are well-stocked without excess waste. Ideal candidates will have prior barista experience, though a passion for hospitality and a willingness to learn can compensate.
