They are entrusted with operating retail equipment such as espresso machines and convection ovens to prepare both coffee and coffee-free beverages, all while adhering strictly to health and safety standards to maintain a clean and organized workspace. This position provides an engaging, fast-paced work setting, requiring multitasking skills, attention to detail, and a friendly disposition to sustain a positive and efficient customer environment. Beyond beverage preparation, Baristas handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy, assist in inventory management, and support training initiatives, helping new team members acclimate and thrive. The role demands independence during shifts and professional handling of customer concerns to uphold the brand's reputation. This hourly, nonexempt role offers compensation starting at $10.00 per hour plus up to $7.00 per hour in tips, reinforcing Black Rock Coffee Bar’s commitment to rewarding dedication and excellent performance. • High school diploma or equivalent
• prior experience in customer service or food and beverage industry preferred
• ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs
