We are currently seeking a Bar Back to join our dedicated team. This position is vital to ensuring smooth and efficient bar service operations at our luxury hotel. The Bar Back will assist in various duties related to bar maintenance and preparation, allowing bartenders to focus on delivering outstanding drink service and guest interactions. This role is essential in supporting daily bar functions, including opening and closing duties, stocking, and cleanliness, ensuring that the bar area meets the high standards expected at The Global Ambassador. The position offers competitive rates with benefits available when working 25 hours per week or more, including medical, dental, vision, and paid time off. As a Bar Back, you will take responsibility for restocking the bar with essential items like garnishes, straws, and napkins, ensuring that bartenders have clean towels and glassware, and that all bar supplies, including ice, liquor, wine, and beer, are fully stocked. You will be expected to check taps and appliances for proper function, carry out minor repairs, and manage keg changes. Maintaining a clean and sanitary bar environment by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and managing trash disposal will be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will assist with inventory control by maintaining records of usage and reporting levels to aid in the reordering process. Proper storage of delivered items will also be an important part of your role. This position requires a candidate with a strong work ethic, excellent teamwork and communication skills, and an ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment. We value individuals who demonstrate responsible alcohol service abilities and are physically capable of meeting the demands of the position, including the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and remain on their feet for extended periods.
