The Bartender role at American Social is vital in ensuring that the bar area runs smoothly and efficiently while delivering exceptional service to guests. The bartender will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the bar area, preparing drinks according to precise recipes, and stock management to ensure availability of all necessary ingredients and supplies. They will also be expected to comply with all local and federal liquor laws, demonstrating responsible alcohol service and awareness. Working closely with other team members, including both front-of-house and back-of-house staff, the bartender must exemplify American Social's core values, operate under the guidance of management, and play an active role in delivering a superior guest experience. This position demands someone who can work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and uphold safety and sanitation standards throughout their shift. Flexibility to assist in other departments as needed and the ability to work late-night shifts are essential components of this job. • Ability to work late night shifts, potentially to between 12 AM - 4AM
• works assigned scheduled shifts

• supports and follows all marketing initiatives
• understands and adheres to all safety, sanitation, and administrative procedures

• ensures all bar equipment is in proper working order, communicating problems when necessary
• cleans, sanitizes and polishes glassware ensuring cleanliness and presentation standards
