About the Role: The Barback position plays a critical support role within the Food and Beverage team as a CRCR Ambassador. This role requires personal ownership to ensure that every action aligns with the business's best interests. Responsibilities include assisting with guest service, handling order processing and transactions through point-of-sale systems, and ensuring compliance with alcohol service regulations by verifying guest identification for those who appear under 30. The Barback must keep their assigned bar area clean, maintain proper stock rotation and storage, and monitor inventory levels to facilitate smooth operations. Additional tasks include replenishing glassware, condiments, and garnishes, changing beer kegs and soda bibs, and ensuring all operational equipment is functioning correctly. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently while maintaining high performance standards. The Barback supports bartenders and management by promptly executing assigned duties and addressing guest service issues professionally. They are also expected to engage with guests by providing recommendations and enhancing their experience, reinforcing the company’s commitment to excellent service. The role demands adherence to mandatory training and certifications, including Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) and ServSafe or Food Handler’s certifications.
