This role is pivotal in providing patrons with an outstanding customer service experience, facilitating beverage preparation and service, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the bar area, and upholding compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. As a bar staff member, you will help create memorable moments for guests by combining excellent service skills with a spirited and friendly demeanor. The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $2.13 to $5.00 plus tips. In this position, bar staff members are expected to greet guests warmly, provide menus or beverage lists, and take drink orders accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system. The role requires proficiency in preparing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and soft drinks, ensuring each drink meets established quality standards. Beyond beverage service, bar staff will maintain the cleanliness and efficient organization of the bar environment, managing stock and replenishment of supplies as well as cleaning equipment and surfaces. Adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards is critical, especially regarding the responsible handling of alcoholic beverages. Employees in this role must also handle cash and credit transactions accurately, interact professionally with customers to address their queries or concerns, and collaborate effectively with fellow staff for seamless operations. Opening and closing duties, including cashing out registers and securing the premises, conclude the daily responsibilities. • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in food and beverage service preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
