The Server role in the Bar Department reports directly to the Bar Manager and is an hourly position located in retail stores across the division. This role is central to maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for guests while supporting the bar operations. Servers are responsible for delivering high-level customer service and ensuring that all patrons have a memorable and enjoyable experience. They facilitate communication between customers and the kitchen staff, handle drink orders efficiently, and contribute to a clean and safe bar environment. The Server role demands an individual with excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, maintain a state Food Handler’s Permit, and be at least 21 years old due to the nature of alcohol service. Previous server experience is preferred but not mandatory, as comprehensive training and support are provided. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume atmosphere, exhibits strong multitasking capabilities, and works well under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand and walk continuously during shifts, lift and carry weights up to 25 pounds, and move quickly to meet customer needs. Working conditions are primarily temperature-controlled indoors, with occasional exposure to varying outdoor temperatures.
