Bar-back - Full-time

The role of a bar-back is pivotal in supporting the bartenders by ensuring that all behind-the-bar activities run smoothly and efficiently. As a bar-back, you will be the bartender’s extra set of hands, responsible for maintaining the bar’s stock, assisting during busy service hours, and providing immediate support to bartenders as needed. This position requires a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Many of our bartenders have started their careers as bar-backs, making this role a valuable stepping stone for advancement within the industry. In your role, you will handle essential tasks such as cleaning and wiping down bar counters, furniture, and tabletops to ensure a clean and inviting environment. You will be responsible for washing glasses and dishes to maintain a steady supply for service. Handling drink spills and broken glassware is also part of your daily duties to uphold safety and cleanliness standards. Restocking and replenishing liquor, garnishes, and bar supplies will keep the bar operating smoothly without interruptions. You will assist with changing beer kegs and managing waste by emptying trash and refilling ice wells, helping maintain the bar’s efficiency and guest satisfaction. The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a proactive approach to anticipate bartenders’ needs and contribute to a seamless service experience.
