The role offered is for an Event Service Staff member, compensated at $11.13 an hour plus gratuities and tips. This is an hourly position that combines customer service, event setup and breakdown, and various support functions. The responsibilities extend beyond typical wait staff duties to include event setup according to specific event orders, maintaining cleanliness and order in banquet areas, and assisting with the catering of food, beverages, and supplies even to sister locations such as Prairie Island. An additional unique aspect of this position involves assisting the Boat Captain with cleaning and maintenance tasks aboard the event boat, offering diverse work experiences within the hospitality domain. Staff members are expected to operate point-of-sale systems, handle cash transactions accurately, and uphold organizational policies, including dress codes and hygiene standards. This role requires individuals who are agile, able to handle physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing or walking, and capable of working efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and above-average math skills critical for handling cash and sales operations. - 1-year wait staff experience
- Previous guest service experience in a similar teamwork environment
