The Banquet Captain role at TBCC encompasses a critical leadership position within the Food & Beverage department. Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager and General Manager, the Banquet Captain plays an essential role in overseeing the daily operational aspects of banquet events. This position is hourly and supplemented by gratuities, offering a competitive wage range from $19.00 to $20.00 per hour. The Banquet Captain’s responsibilities include ensuring excellent guest service that meets or exceeds expectations, overseeing staffing adequacy to fulfill the needs of restaurant members, and assisting management with training and onboarding initiatives. This role requires proactive shift supervision in management’s absence, ensuring all food, beverage, and cleanliness standards are meticulously monitored and maintained. Additional duties involve coordinating banquet event setups, including arranging tables, linens, and chairs, followed by delivering impeccable food and beverage service tailored to each occasion.
