We are currently seeking a highly motivated Bar Manager to oversee all bar operations, ensuring that every guest enjoys a superior experience through expertly crafted beverages and top-notch service. This full-time role offers an annual salary of up to $60,000 and requires a leader who can balance operational management with staff development, financial oversight, and customer engagement. The Bar Manager will be responsible for supervising a talented team of bartenders, driving sales through local promotions, and maintaining strict control over beverage costs and quality. This role is pivotal in delivering an outstanding Fridays Service Style experience, optimizing both profitability and customer loyalty through effective marketing and operational excellence. The Bar Manager will also champion staff development by staffing, coaching, and providing ongoing feedback that elevates performance and morale. They will maintain manpower plans, oversee scheduling, and ensure that all team members complete their required training programs. Among their daily responsibilities, managing bar operations, including product quality, cleanliness, and guest interactions, will be key. The role demands leadership in coordinating with General Managers, acting as Manager on Duty when required, and ensuring compliance with all security and operational protocols. Success in this role will be measured by guest satisfaction scores, sales growth, adherence to budgetary constraints for beverage cost and labor, and maintaining high standards of operational execution. Candidates should possess extensive knowledge of bar operations with proven experience in managing beverage production and purchasing. Essential physical requirements include the ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours, frequent bending and stooping, and lifting up to 30 pounds. Good communication skills, the ability to manage stressful situations effectively, and the aptitude for making sound decisions are also critical. In addition to operational responsibilities, the Bar Manager will serve as a key leader who inspires and motivates staff, manages talent acquisition and retention, and fosters open communication across all levels of the bar team.
