The Bakery Production Operator plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards of the bakery division by assisting in the preparation of all bakery products in line with production schedules. This full-time position requires the operator to be exposed to cold temperatures for extended periods and mandates weekend work to meet the operational needs of a seven-day workweek. The position offers a dynamic environment where operators are responsible for dough and batter make-up, filling, icing, packaging, and the proper distribution of finished bakery products. Precision and adherence to procedure are critical, as the operator must follow lot tracking, portion control, and weight standards to ensure quality consistency. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness of work areas and equipment, operating production machinery, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with the Production Supervisor, Crew Leader, and Production Manager, the Bakery Production Operator is integral in communicating quality, production, and waste performance to meet daily output goals. This opportunity is suited for a motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The operator must be physically capable of moving production equipment up to 50 pounds and working in varying temperature conditions. They must uphold all safety procedures, including OSHA and EPA regulations, and contribute positively to the company culture by supporting team goals and complying with established policies.
