The role we are seeking to fill is for a Baking Assistant who will play a crucial part in supporting our baking operations by preparing various baked goods by following existing recipes accurately. The Baking Assistant will measure and weigh ingredients, knead and prepare dough, monitor baking processes, and ensure that equipment is cleaned and maintained according to our health and safety guidelines. In addition, this role involves decorating and finishing products, as well as operating slicing and wrapping equipment. Candidates should have a basic understanding of baking principles, cake decorating skills, and familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment. This position demands physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for extended periods.
