The role of Kitchen Supervisor at the Yavapai Hotel is designed for experienced cooks who thrive in fast-paced culinary environments. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will oversee kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety standards are meticulously maintained. Your responsibilities will also extend to supervising team members, managing kitchen inventory, equipment, and cleanliness, and maintaining food cost efficiency. Effective communication and leadership skills are vital, as you will work closely with team members and restaurant managers to deliver an excellent guest experience. This role is ideal for candidates with a minimum of two years’ experience as a line cook including supervisory experience. No college degree is required, but leadership capability, detail orientation, and basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing food costs are essential. Physically, the role demands manual dexterity, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and the capacity to work on your feet for extended periods while performing various physical tasks in a dynamic kitchen environment exposed to heat, burns, cuts, and chemicals.
