The role of Basic Machine Operator at Reser's is integral to the manufacturing process, involving the operation of fundamental food processing machinery that produces intermediate food products. This role requires meticulous attention to detail to guarantee that product weights, dates, and temperatures consistently comply with established standards. Employees in this position work within a refrigerated food manufacturing plant, undertaking physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing or walking for long durations. The environment can vary from wet to dry and may experience temperature fluctuations ranging from 25°F to 110°F. Flexibility in working hours is also necessary, as production demands might require overtime or shifts during evenings and weekends.
