The Concierge position at Planned Companies represents a vital front-line role pivotal to delivering impeccable service in residential or commercial buildings. This temporary position offers weekday and weekend shifts—Wednesday to Friday from 3 pm to 11 pm, and Saturdays from 10 am to 6 pm—at an hourly wage of $19.00. As a Concierge, you will act as the welcoming face of the property, providing tenants, guests, and vendors with friendly greetings, directions, and a range of services designed to promote comfort, convenience, and community engagement. This role involves much more than simple reception duties. The Concierge is expected to build and maintain strong relationships with tenants by offering tailored experiences that reflect their individual preferences and needs. Responsibilities include scheduling reservations and appointments across various venues, organizing onsite community events to foster connection, and facilitating access to local entertainment, shopping, dining, sporting events, tourist attractions, and transportation services. Moreover, you will be involved in managing mail, deliveries, and vendor services, ensuring security procedures such as monitoring lobby activity, handling keys and access cards, and answering telephones with professionalism and efficiency. To thrive in this role, candidates must display a genuine passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment. Knowledge of the surrounding local area and attractions will be critical in providing accurate and helpful referrals. The position also demands physical capability, including the ability to lift items up to 50 pounds when necessary.
