The Finance organization at select Cisco locations operates under a hybrid work model, requiring two days of in-office attendance weekly, with limited exceptions to accommodate certain roles or needs. This particular role is for a Flight Coordinator within Cisco’s Finance organization, focused on supporting the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the corporate aircraft program. This position plays a crucial role in coordinating corporate travel services for Cisco’s C-suite executives and senior leadership, ensuring smooth and secure travel experiences. The Flight Coordinator liaises closely with Executive Admins, C-Suite members, and corporate aircraft suppliers, overseeing vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and compliance with FAA Part 91 and 135 regulations. By standardizing and improving international travel services and mitigating risks, the Flight Coordinator ensures operational excellence across all executive travel logistics.
Key responsibilities include coordinating all aspects of corporate flight operations, from scheduling flights and assessing aircraft requirements to ensuring FAA regulatory compliance and performing advanced data analysis and reporting. The Flight Coordinator also manages strategic vendor relationships, including sourcing air, hotel, and travel management companies, leading Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, contract bidding, pricing negotiations, and renewals.
This role demands strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will hold or be progressing toward an FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate and have significant experience in flight coordination, dispatch, or aviation operations, including oversight of third-party charter services. Familiarity with aviation scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly proficiency in Excel and Power BI, is essential.
The Flight Coordinator must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with rotating schedules and occasional after-hours support, especially for international coordination.
