The role of General Manager at MV Transportation is a pivotal leadership position, charged with overseeing the daily operations of a designated transportation location. This role demands a proactive and strategic leader who can effectively manage both people and resources to meet and exceed business objectives. - College degree or equivalent business management experience
- Management experience required
- Minimum ten years of experience in transit operations including fixed route, on-demand, and ADA services
- Minimum seven years senior management experience in a transit agency
- Expertise in labor and union negotiations and expenses
- Full understanding of dispatch, scheduling, driver recruitment, and safety DOT and FTA compliance
- Proficient in MS Office with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills and multi-tasking ability
- Ability to perform additional duties based on contract requirements
