The Associate Visitor Relations Specialist - Tour Guide position at Boeing plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional visitor experiences at BFoF. This full-time role involves engaging with diverse audiences to communicate detailed and scripted Boeing content regarding aviation and aerospace technologies. In addition to leading factory tours, this position supports various aspects of the visitor experience, including ticketing services, facilitating interactive gallery exhibits, and assisting in special events and educational programming. The role demands a passion for customer interaction, an ability to memorize and present complex information accurately, and a commitment to providing exceptional service that positively represents the Boeing brand. Candidates must be prepared to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays, with operating hours subject to seasonal and special event variations.
Responsibilities for this role include delivering scripted presentations to groups of up to 200 visitors, assisting guests with wayfinding and safety, managing ticket sales, being a mentor to new staff, and actively participating in team training. Physical demands include standing and walking for extended periods, intermittent speaking, and occasionally lifting up to 20 pounds. The ideal candidate is personable, capable of maintaining composure under pressure, skilled in addressing guest inquiries, and capable of utilizing technology related to tours and point of sale systems. Familiarity with Boeing or BFoF programs is a plus. Boeing offers a competitive total rewards package, including salary commensurate with experience, health and retirement benefits, paid time off, and other employee programs.                 - High school diploma or equivalent
 - 1+ years of customer service experience
 - Strong verbal and written communication skills
 - Ability to stand and walk for up to six hours per shift
 - Ability to speak intermittently for 90 minutes multiple times daily
 - Able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
 - Capable of working flexible hours including weekends and holidays
 - Good interpersonal skills and aptitude for learning detailed information
 - Fluent in English
 - Proficiency in a second language is a plus
 - Must be able to use radio microphone computer cell phone and other necessary equipment
