The Dual General Manager role is a high-level leadership position responsible for overseeing the operations of two hotels simultaneously, ensuring financial optimization, maintaining high service and product standards, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and brand requirements. This salaried, exempt position demands hands-on management with a strong emphasis on communication and leadership. The Dual General Manager will support their management teams and front line associates, lead operational initiatives such as sales planning and budget development, and oversee physical property improvement projects. They serve as a liaison between guests, clients, associates, ownership, corporate and brand representatives, and key vendors. The position requires the ability to direct at least two full-time associates or equivalents, with primary duties consisting mostly of administrative, executive, or professional tasks requiring discretion and independent judgment. Responsibilities include driving revenue growth, expense control, staff motivation and development, conducting financial reviews, and ensuring compliance with company policies. In this role, the manager will engage in regular property visits, oversee maintenance and cleanliness, host and participate in sales efforts, conduct training and staff meetings, and promote a positive guest experience by ensuring employees remain attentive and courteous. Essential skills include strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, communication proficiency including speaking, reading, and writing, and the capacity to handle financial data and complex information effectively even under stressful conditions.
