Auction.com is the nation’s leading online real estate marketplace specializing exclusively in the sale of residential bank-owned and foreclosure properties through online auctions and live trustee sale events. The platform is designed to seamlessly connect buyers and sellers of residential real estate, offering exclusive access to properties that might otherwise be difficult to find. This innovative approach empowers residential real estate investors and financial institutions to achieve optimal and mutually beneficial results. Founded with the mission to go beyond the bid, Auction.com has revolutionized the way properties are bought and sold by creating a transparent, efficient, and user-friendly marketplace that leverages advanced technology and industry expertise. Auction.com is currently seeking an Associate Auction Coordinator for a part-time opportunity based in Laredo, TX. This role offers a unique chance to be the face of Auction.com locally by conducting, co-hosting, and participating in live auctions traditionally held on courthouse steps and other venues. As an Associate Auction Coordinator, you will engage directly with bidders and perform the necessary tasks to ensure a successful auction event. This involves multitasking to guarantee that all required processes and protocols are properly completed while maintaining a high level of professionalism. This position includes training hourly pay starting at $17.50, with potential increases depending on your progress in training, skill development, proficiency, and additional responsibilities. Pay rates during active auctions range between $20.00 and $30.00 per hour. The job requires travel within a region centered around Laredo, TX, with occasional drives up to two hours to surrounding areas; personal mileage beyond 40 miles per day is reimbursed. Occasionally, travel beyond two hours may be required, and in such cases, a rental car may be provided depending on estimated mileage and scheduling needs. Flexibility is key as auction events are assigned monthly based on the scheduling needs in Texas. The work schedule typically ranges from 6 to 12 hours monthly, with each auction lasting between 2 to 8 hours. In addition to auctions, the role involves participation in mandatory training sessions, administrative tasks, and continual opportunities to develop your skills, all while earning additional compensation. This dynamic role offers a unique blend of fieldwork, customer service, and operational responsibility in a fast-paced, outdoor setting. The Associate Auction Coordinator acts as a vital link between Auction.com and its customers, helping educate the community on how to participate in auctions and assisting in the process of turning houses into homes. Working closely with government officials, deputies, attorneys, and other event staff, you are expected to perform duties with precision, professionalism, and attention to detail. The role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, are tech-savvy, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in dynamic environments where quick thinking and adaptability are valued. This position offers significant professional development opportunities through regular training programs, team collaboration, and exposure to a specialized sector of the real estate market. Employee benefits include a competitive pay structure, travel reimbursement policy, an employee recognition program, referral incentives, and eligibility to participate in Auction.com’s 401(k) retirement plan. If you are looking for a role that combines customer service, live event coordination, and the chance to be part of an innovative company reshaping residential real estate transactions, this Associate Auction Coordinator position in Laredo, TX could be the perfect fit.
