The role of Assistant Kitchen Manager at Texas Roadhouse is a crucial leadership position within the Back of House operations. This role requires an individual who is passionate about overseeing the preparation and presentation of food that meets the brand's high standards of excellence. The Assistant Kitchen Manager works closely with the Kitchen Manager to supervise kitchen staff, enforce compliance with employment policies, maintain food safety and quality standards, and ensure a seamless flow of service during peak dining hours. This position demands hands-on management, including assisting in cooking, serving, and hosting as needed to maintain exceptional service levels. The Assistant Kitchen Manager is responsible for monitoring inventory, controlling waste, conducting line taste and temperature checks, and upholding proper sanitation and equipment maintenance practices. Additionally, the role involves developing and mentoring Back of House employees to foster a positive work environment and uphold the restaurant’s core values. The role also plays a key part in ensuring guest safety and cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
