The role of Assistant Housekeeping Manager at this Baltimore location is an integral leadership position responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction within guest rooms and public areas. The assistant manager oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping team, including Room Attendants and House Attendants, managing shifts to guarantee that all assigned areas meet exacting cleanliness and maintenance standards. This leadership role involves recruiting, training, scheduling, and evaluating housekeeping staff, as well as implementing disciplinary actions when necessary. 
A critical aspect of the position involves closely monitoring the progress and quality of work performed by the housekeeping team, conducting thorough inspections of completed rooms, and providing coaching to address any deficiencies promptly. The Assistant Housekeeping Manager also coordinates maintenance requests and ensures timely completion to maintain the overall guest experience. Additionally, the role is responsible for managing supply levels on guest floors and maintaining the cleanliness of common areas such as corridors, stairwells, elevators, and linen closets.
