The assistant manager oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping team, including Room Attendants and House Attendants, managing shifts to guarantee that all assigned areas meet exacting cleanliness and maintenance standards. This leadership role involves recruiting, training, scheduling, and evaluating housekeeping staff, as well as implementing disciplinary actions when necessary. A critical aspect of the position involves closely monitoring the progress and quality of work performed by the housekeeping team, conducting thorough inspections of completed rooms, and providing coaching to address any deficiencies promptly.
