The Assistant Golf Professional role at Homestead Golf Club is a full-time seasonal position running from May 1st to October 1st. The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $20 to $24 per hour with additional earning potential through providing golf lessons. This position plays a crucial part in the daily golf operations, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service to guests, efficiently managing merchandise, and operating the point of sale (POS) system to complete transactions seamlessly. The Assistant Golf Professional also supervises the Golf Shop and Outside Service Attendants, ensuring a smooth and effective operational workflow that maintains high standards for guest interactions and service delivery.
Core responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and organization across the pro shop, practice areas, and golf carts, operating the golf cart fleet with strict adherence to safety and course policies, scheduling and managing tee time reservations, and supporting the management of golf events, tournaments, and leagues including organization, scoring, and logistics coordination. Additionally, the position requires strong teamwork capabilities and organizational skills to support the Golf Operations Manager and staff in delivering exceptional experiences to the club members and guests.
