As an Assistant General Manager at Chuze Fitness, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the General Manager and contributing to the success of the club. This role blends leadership, customer service, and operational excellence, making it essential for ensuring that each day unfolds as a positive and productive experience for both members and team members. You will lead by example, guiding a dedicated team of 20-30 employees to deliver exceptional service, maintain cleanliness, and uphold the company culture. From onboarding and training new staff to addressing member interactions with professionalism and warmth, your impact will be felt throughout the club. The position carries a pay range of $23.27 to $27.12 per hour, reflecting the value placed on experienced leadership and the ability to manage multifaceted responsibilities effectively.
Your responsibilities as Assistant General Manager will include playing an active role in problem-solving complex member and employee situations in collaboration with the General Manager and Human Resources. You will ensure smooth daily operations by managing shift schedules, handling opening and closing duties, and maintaining adequate staffing levels. A significant part of your role will involve fostering communication across various departments including fitness operations and maintenance, enabling seamless collaboration to keep the club running at its best. Furthermore, your involvement in recruitment and onboarding will help attract and retain top-notch talent, strengthening the team and supporting sustained growth.
