The Assistant General Manager role at WoodSpring Suites is a pivotal leadership position responsible for supporting the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day hotel operations. This position demands an energetic and proactive leader who is passionate about hospitality and team development. The Assistant General Manager will step in to lead the hotel operations during the absence of the General Manager, ensuring seamless service delivery and adherence to company standards.
Responsibilities in this role include training and guiding staff members, monitoring financial processes such as posting checks and managing labor tracking, maintaining high standards of guest services and property cleanliness, and handling housekeeping assignments. The Assistant General Manager will also play a key role in guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring the hotel is always guest-ready. Beyond operational duties, the role involves engaging with the local community and vendors to promote the hotel, as well as supporting sales and marketing efforts to boost occupancy rates.
Compensation for this full-time position ranges from $43,888 to $46,388 annually, depending on experience.
