The Country Club of Mobile is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join their Food and Beverage Department. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting directly to the Director of Food and Beverage Operations. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will play an integral role in maintaining the high standards of service that members expect while ensuring smooth daily operations within the food and beverage outlets, including overseeing the food and beverage pool operations from May through October. This position requires a friendly, outgoing professional with excellent communication skills who can lead a team effectively and contribute positively to the member and guest experience. The role demands strong organizational skills, the ability to think quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing "Service with a Smile." The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for coordinating staff activities, managing day-to-day operations, and executing special events that align with the club's standards. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other team members to improve service protocols, implement cost-saving measures, and enhance member satisfaction. Leadership is a crucial aspect of this role, as the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will help motivate and guide staff, participate in recruiting efforts, and ensure compliance with health department regulations. This individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office and club management software, possess advanced problem-solving skills, and demonstrate a willingness to adopt innovative practices that benefit the department and club as a whole.
