The role of Assistant Director of Sales & Venue is a senior leadership position central to the continued growth and success of Spotlight Events and LEAP. In this capacity, the Assistant Director will lead the Sales & Venue team, set clear goals and accountability standards, and ensure consistent alignment with the company’s core values which promote passion, excellence, adaptability, teamwork, and ownership. This role's responsibilities span conducting ongoing market analysis, overseeing the entire venue lifecycle from sourcing to contract execution, managing client retention metrics, and leveraging data-driven insights to inform event and business development strategies. The Assistant Director will also serve as a trusted advisor to clients, studios, and partners, guaranteeing top-tier experiences that drive long-term loyalty. Moreover, you will represent Spotlight Events at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to strengthen brand presence and pursue new growth opportunities through acquisitions and market expansion. Traveling to approximately 6-10 regional and possibly 1-2 national events per year is required, underscoring the dynamic and hands-on nature of this role.
