As a Baker at Albertsons, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional baked goods that delight customers and contribute to the store's inviting atmosphere. The role is dynamic and varied, with responsibilities including baking breads, cookies, pastries, creating fancy desserts, and decorating cakes. Attention to quality, freshness, and safety is paramount. Bakers work with specialized equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and proofers to ensure all products meet Albertsons’ high standards. Beyond baking, Bakers interact with customers, bringing a warm, friendly presence to the store and taking pride in their craft. You will also help maintain display cases and shelves in a clean, organized, and fully stocked state, enhancing the customer experience. - High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in baking or food service is helpful but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
