As an Armed Driver Guard, you will be entrusted with the safe and secure pickup and delivery of cash, coin, and valuables, working closely with your team to service a range of customer locations including financial institutions and retail businesses. Key responsibilities include driving automatic armored vehicles on designated routes, servicing ATMs and Smart Safes, and managing customer transactions such as delivering change orders and picking up deposits. The position requires careful loading and unloading of vehicle cargo, which involves handling multiple bags and boxes of coins. Accurate counting, recording, and signing for cargo items are crucial to maintaining accountability and trust. Additionally, the role may include other duties assigned by management to ensure seamless operations. The safety and security aspects of this position are paramount. Armed Driver Guards must be prepared to meet the requirements for firearm permits and complete security qualifications, all facilitated by Loomis. The job demands physical fitness for lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling tasks, often performed in a controlled environment inside air-conditioned vehicles.
