The Travel Coordinator role at QinetiQ US is a critical position responsible for managing comprehensive travel logistics associated with government contracts, ensuring strict adherence to federal travel regulations and customer invoicing requirements. This full-time position requires proficiency in the Defense Travel System (DTS) and Deltek for managing travel expense reporting and reimbursements. The role involves coordinating authorizations, reservations, and expense reports, reconciling travel expenses, monitoring travel budgets, and preparing invoices. Additionally, this position plays a vital role in maintaining accurate travel documentation and compliance, resolving travel-related issues, and generating financial reports to inform leadership decisions. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in government contracting travel support functions. They will work closely with finance and contracting teams to ensure all travel expenditures are accounted for accurately and efficiently. Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite tools is essential for report generation, expense tracking, and communication.   • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Three plus years of experience as a travel coordinator or in a similar role in a government contracting environment
  • Proficiency in Defense Travel System (DTS)
  • Experience with Deltek expense reporting software
  • Strong knowledge of Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and Federal Travel Regulations (FTR)
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Active SECRET or higher security clearance
