The role of Shift Leader at WKS Restaurant Group is a vital leadership position responsible for managing restaurant operations during assigned shifts. This position ensures the smooth running of the restaurant by overseeing day-to-day activities such as food preparation, customer service, team management, and compliance with safety and quality standards. The Shift Leader acts as a support to the General Manager and Assistant Manager, helping to maintain high operational standards and create a positive and productive work environment. This role requires a hands-on approach, with the leader actively assisting team members and stepping in to cover workstations as needed.
As a Shift Leader, you will be charged with training and coaching team members to enhance their skills and performance while ensuring that all employees adhere to company policies, including grooming and conduct standards. You will play a key role in maintaining food safety by conducting internal self-assessments and ensuring compliance with both company and governmental standards. Additionally, your responsibilities include managing cash handling activities, overseeing opening and closing procedures, and ensuring accurate scheduling and inventory management.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of supervisory experience in a restaurant setting, possess strong leadership qualities, and have the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant setting

- ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- access to reliable transportation to report to scheduled shifts, trainings, and meetings
- willingness to work at nearby store locations within the district as needed, based on business demands
