This full-time, non-management role involves the operation and control of machinery used for washing, dry cleaning, and drying garments. Employees will handle responsibilities such as adding chemicals, cleaning lint filters, and inspecting items for stains or damage to determine appropriate treatment or disposal. The role requires setting drying times and temperatures according to fabric types, folding clean items by hand or with folding machines, and accurately documenting washed and ironed articles. In addition, the position demands adherence to company safety policies, timely reporting of maintenance or safety issues, and maintaining a professional appearance. The role involves physical activities such as moving, lifting, transporting, pushing, and pulling items under 25 pounds, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and working in confined or elevated spaces and on varied surfaces. The candidate must support team goals, uphold quality assurance standards, and perform additional duties as needed by supervisors.
