The Service Leader role at Chipotle is pivotal in maintaining a positive customer experience and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality food. This role involves overseeing the restaurant crew to guarantee excellent service and a clean, organized working environment. Service Leaders play a critical part in upholding Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy and food safety standards, including monitoring proper hand washing, glove changes, food temperatures, secondary shelf lives, and adherence to daily food safety checklists and policies. The position requires individuals to be physically active during their shifts, managing multiple tasks and assisting team members as needed.
In addition to food preparation and safety, the Service Leader is responsible for managing crew schedules, breaks, meetings, and performance reviews, as well as developing and cross-training front-of-house crew members to ensure high standards of customer service. Administrative duties such as banking, cash handling, office paperwork, and ensuring the functionality of office equipment and the availability of supplies also fall under this role.
This position offers a competitive base pay ranging from $18.25 to $20.31 per hour, with additional earnings from digital tips.
