The role offered is within the Operations Department, specifically for the Theater location, and reports directly to the General Manager. This position is integral to maintaining the exceptional standards that Cinepolis prides itself on. The primary responsibility involves delivering concessions, kitchen, and bar items to guests while embodying the brand’s mission of providing Nice and Amazing Service. Attention to detail and working closely with the expediter are crucial for ensuring that all food orders are timely, of high quality, and delivered simultaneously to guests. This position also demands integrity and a commitment to double-checking orders for accuracy and completeness.
Team members will guide guests through menu options, suggest promotional deals, and upsell additional items, demonstrating deep knowledge of the menu and Cinepolis offerings. Maintaining clean auditoriums by removing dishes and trash, assisting team members in various tasks including ticket scanning, cleaning, restroom checks, and ringing up guests at concessions or the box office, are also key components of this role.
Handling guest complaints professionally and directing them to the appropriate resource when necessary is an essential part of the job to ensure customer satisfaction. Team members must stay alert to any issues with movie projections and communicate promptly with management when problems arise. The role requires completion of all opening, mid, and closing procedures efficiently, alongside participation in ongoing training and meetings to maintain high standards of service.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and preferably have more than one year of experience in food running or bussing. Certification in ServSafe, Food Handling, and Alcohol training is mandatory. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required to effectively interact with team members, guests, and management, especially under stressful and fast-paced conditions. Attention to detail, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a strong ethical foundation are critical qualities in this role.
Working in a theater environment involves physical demands such as walking, bending, standing for extended periods, and occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds with assistance. Noise levels in the theater can range from moderate to high, typical of a cinematic setting.
